Day
1 - Reception At Siliguri
(NJP/Bagdogra), Proceed to Darjeeling (80Kms). Transfer to Hotel
Windamere. Windamere, "One of the three Jewels of the Raj",
as described by a celebrated travel writer, was established in the 19th
century as a cosy boarding house for bachelor English and Scottish tea
planters, and converted into a hotel just before the outbreak of the Second
World War. Well known to sophisticated travellers the world over, the
Windamere is famous for its unique ambience and charm, and has been the
subject of many leading stories in the international media. (Overnight

Day
2 - Early Morning visit to Tiger Hill for an unforgettable
sight of Sunrise over Mt. Kunchanjungha. Situated at a distance of 10Kms
from the town Tiger Hill rises to a height of 8515ft above sea level.
The ascent to Tiger Hill winds along the moist hilly track of Senchal
Wild life Sanctuary that passes through the dense forests of magnificent
oak, magnolia and rhododendron, with thickets of raspberries on both side
and sparkling cascades tumbling down the hill. The summit commands a grand
view of the bulk of Kunchanjungha stretching across the horizon. The first
ray of the Sun touches the snow peak and the grandeur of the sight can
be remembered for the years to come. Back to the hotel for a cup of Darjeeling
tea. Take a short evening stroll around the Observatory Hill road passing
through high pine forests and visit the old heritage buildings of Raj

Day 3 - Day starts with a fabulous Joyride in
Heritage Toy Train. Visit famous Batasia Loop and back to the hotel. Visit
to the unique Darjeeling Zoo for a rare sight of high altitude Himalayan
species including red panda and snow leopard. After lunch visit to the
rope way point for an incredible ropeway ride down to Takvar Valley. (Overnight

Day
4 - Proceed to Kalimpong (60Kms) via Peshok Road that passes
through some of the most beautifully located tea gardens of Darjeeling
overlooking the Rangit River Valley. Transfer to Himalayan Hotel a stone
built, two-storey heritage hotel. Surrounded by spacious gardens featuring
a wide variety of Himalayan flora, the hotel has excellent views of Kanchenjunga
and the surrounding mountain ranges, which drop to the nearby Teesta and
Rangit rivers. The hotel itself features Himalayan oak ceilings, teak
pillars, walnut and teak furniture with open fireplaces in most rooms.
It is a hotel of real charm and character, with an atmosphere redolent
of its close association with Himalayan history. Spend the day at leisure

Day
5 - Full day excursion to explore the heritage of Kalimpong. Visit
to the handsome Gothic Church and Tower built as the memory to the Revd.
W. Macfarlane, the pioneer Missionary of the Church of Scotland, who died
here in 1887. After lunch visit to the century old Graham's Home and three
hundred years old Bong monastery. Free evening to have a leisure walk
on the lonely Eastman road flanked by pine trees. (Overnight at Kalimpong)
Day 6 - Morning visit to the downtown market
for shopping traditional handicraft items. Check out from hotel and proceed
to Siliguri. Farewell at Siliguri.
