Lava- Loleygaon
Day 2 - Drive to Mirik (40kms) after having a fabulous Sunrise over the Kanchenjunga. Enjoy boating and horse riding at Mirik Lake. Back to Leptcha Jagat in the afternoon. Overnight Halt: Lepcha Jagat. Day 3 - Take a short visit to Jorepokhri Salamander Project at Sukhia Pokhri (7Kms). Salamander is one of the rarest Himalayan reptiles in the region. Have a rare glimpse of the animal on its natural habitat. Back to the forest bungalow. Spend a leisure evening on your cozy room watching the mighty Kanchenjunga. Overnight Halt: Lepcha Jagat. Day 4 - Drive to Lava via Teesta Bazaar and Kalimpong (100Kms). Check in hotel. Stroll around the small misty Lava village. Overnight Halt: Lava. Day 5 - Visit to Lava Monastery and Nature Interpretation Center (1Km). View the magnum of Kanchenjunga massif, conifered hill slopes, deep gorges and valleys from your hotel / rest house. Overnight Halt: Lava.
Day 8 - Early morning drive to Jhandidara (3Kms)
for Sunrise. Situated at the dense forest covered hilltop, Jhandidara
offers a panoramic view of the region and is one of the best places for
Sunrise over the snow ridges. Back to the hotel for refreshment. Take
short walks among the huge mossy Oaks and Cypress in the Heritage forest

1 - Reception at NJP station. Drive to Leptcha Jagat Rest House (85kms).
Stroll around quiet wooded forest trails near the Bungalow. Free evening.

6 - You can take a short trip to Pedong and Delo Top at Kalimpong
(32Kms) or just spend the day at Lava meeting the colourful local people
and taking short walks around the locality. Overnight Halt: Lava
