Day 01 Arrival at Bagdogra or New Jalpaiguri

On arrival at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, meet your driver and proceed to Gangtok. The journey passes through the scenic foothills and winding mountain roads alongside the Teesta River. After reaching Gangtok, check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You may visit the lively MG Marg in the evening before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 02 Discover Gangtok and its cultural attractions

After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing in Gangtok. Visit important attractions such as the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten, Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom, and Enchey Monastery, subject to opening hours and local conditions. Later, enjoy some free time around MG Marg for shopping and sampling local food. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 03 Explore Tsomgo Lake and the Himalayan landscape

After an early breakfast, set out for Tsomgo Lake, a beautiful high-altitude lake surrounded by mountain slopes. The excursion is subject to weather, road conditions and permit approval. Baba Mandir may be included if access is permitted and time allows. Nathula Pass is an optional addition for eligible Indian nationals, subject to separate permit approval and availability. If the mountain route is closed, enjoy additional local sightseeing in Gangtok. Return to the hotel for the night.
Day 04 Scenic Drive from Gangtok to Darjeeling

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Darjeeling. Enjoy changing mountain scenery, river valleys and hillside settlements along the route. The journey generally takes several hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after the drive. If time permits, take an evening walk around Chowrasta and Darjeeling Mall Road, where shops and cafes offer a pleasant introduction to the hill town. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 05 Witness Himalayan Views and Explore Darjeeling

Start early for Tiger Hill, weather permitting, to enjoy the sunrise and possible views of Mount Kanchenjunga. On the return journey, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop with its Gorkha War Memorial. After breakfast, continue to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, subject to their weekly closing days. Visit a tea estate if time allows, then return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 06 Enjoy Darjeeling at a Relaxed Pace

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station for your onward journey. The drive usually takes several hours and may take longer during traffic congestion or adverse weather. Please choose a departure flight or train with sufficient travel time from Darjeeling. Your Gangtok and Darjeeling holiday concludes with memories of Himalayan landscapes, monasteries and tea gardens.
