Day 01 Arrival at Bagdogra or New Jalpaiguri

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and meet your driver for the transfer to Gangtok. Enjoy the scenic drive through the foothills and along the Teesta River. After reaching Gangtok, check in to your hotel and relax. If time permits, take an evening walk around MG Marg before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 02 Explore Gangtok and its local attractions

After breakfast, enjoy local sightseeing in Gangtok. Visit attractions such as Do Drul Chorten, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology and Enchey Monastery, depending on opening hours and the day's schedule. Later, spend some time around MG Marg for shopping and local food. Return to the hotel and enjoy your second night in Gangtok.
Day 03 Scenic Journey from Gangtok to Lachung

After an early breakfast, depart for Lachung with the required permits arranged in advance. Travel through the mountain roads of North Sikkim, passing scenic stretches near Mangan and Chungthang, with suitable stops depending on road conditions and access. The journey takes much of the day, so an early start is important. On arrival, check in to your hotel in Lachung and rest overnight.
Day 04 Visit Yumthang Valley and Return to Lachung

After an early breakfast, travel to Yumthang Valley, known for its mountain scenery, rivers and seasonal flowering landscapes. Sightseeing is subject to weather, road access and local permissions. An optional excursion to Zero Point may be arranged at an additional cost if permitted and accessible. Return to Lachung for an overnight stay. Keep the schedule flexible because mountain weather and road conditions can affect the day's plan.
Day 05 Return to Gangtok from Lachung

After breakfast, check out and begin the return drive to Gangtok. The route follows the mountain road through Chungthang and Mangan, with rest stops as appropriate. Road repairs, traffic restrictions and weather may affect the journey time, so keep the day free for travel rather than planning major sightseeing. On arrival in Gangtok, check in to your hotel and enjoy the final overnight stay.
Day 06 Departure for Bagdogra or New Jalpaiguri

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station for your onward journey. Allow sufficient time for the road transfer, as traffic and mountain road conditions can cause delays. Your Gangtok and North Sikkim holiday concludes with memories of Himalayan scenery, peaceful mountain villages and the beautiful Yumthang Valley.
