A well paced Gangtok holiday combining local sightseeing with the spectacular Tsomgo Lake excursion and time to experience the monasteries markets and mountain views of Sikkims capital.

Day 01 Arrival at Bagdogra or NJP and transfer to Gangtok

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and meet our representative for the drive to Gangtok. The journey follows the Teesta River through the Himalayan foothills before climbing towards the capital. On arrival check in at the hotel and relax. If time permits, take an evening walk along MG Marg and explore the lively centre of Gangtok.
Day 02 Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir excursion

After breakfast, leave for Tsomgo Lake, one of the most popular high-altitude attractions near Gangtok. Continue to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir before returning to Gangtok. The journey offers dramatic mountain scenery and changing landscapes. The required permits will be arranged by us. Nathula Pass can be added as an optional visit, subject to permit availability and local operating conditions.
Day 03 Gangtok local sightseeing and monastery visit

After breakfast, explore the important sights around Gangtok. Visit Rumtek Monastery, followed by Namgyal Institute of Tibetology and the surrounding Buddhist heritage sites. Continue to Tashi View Point and other suitable local viewpoints, depending on the weather and road conditions. Later, enjoy some free time around MG Marg for shopping and local food before returning to the hotel.
Day 04 Gangtok to Bagdogra or NJP for departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the return journey towards Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. The journey takes several hours depending on traffic and road conditions, so the departure time should be planned accordingly. On reaching the airport or railway station, the tour ends with onward travel to your destination.
